Google is helping Internet users reach out and touch someone. But not everybody’s happy about it. Web surfers can type a listed phone number into Google’s search engine and in seconds get that person’s name and address. They’ll also get a link to a service that provides a road map and driving directions. It’s a stalker’s dream. But though Google has offered the reverse phone directory service for more than a year, few Internet users seem to know about it.

if you’re that worried about people finding your address based off your phone number, make sure your number is unlisted. Check the search rules for Google Phonebook and test your number or info.
