How to detect lies

This knowledge is also useful for managers, employers, and for anyone to use in everyday situations where telling the truth from a lie can help prevent you from being a victim of fraud/scams and other deceptions.
Warning: Sometimes Ignorance is bliss; after gaining this knowledge, you may be hurt when it is obvious that someone is lying to you.
There’s a show on Court TV where they used to win $25,000 if they beat an FBI guy that has been doing interrogations for like 25 years. Now it has a little different format (this season). Good info in it, but IMHO when they have outside people “testifying” they always left little hints (like the supposed lottery winner didn’t have any pictures of her with family, or the poligomy guy had a few babies out of wedlock). Good show none-the-less. Wish I could recall the name. Maybe I’m making it all up?
