Fort Lewis College student Mark O’Donnell said he was showing people his College Republicans sweat shirt, which said “Work for us now … or work for us later,” when Maria Spero kicked him in the leg at an off-campus restaurant.
Spero then said “she should have kicked me harder and higher,” said O’Donnell. “To physically take that out on someone because you disagree with them, that is completely wrong.”
Oooh wee I would be one mad kid if a teacher even attempted to kick me because of the political shirt I was flossing. That teacher sure had some balls. That student should have went to town on that teacher with some buddies.

First of all the student Mark O’Donnell was invading the professor’s space. Second of all it had nothing to do with his lousy republican shirt which says “join us now or work for us later.” The student waited four days to complain to the police after contacting the Republican National Committee. This is the true story. She is an honest and good teacher. He invaded her personal space and kicked him out of the way. Do not post without a cause and at first it had nothing to do with that stupid republican shirt.

Fort Lewis College Student
This is rather late in the game, but ‘Michael’ (Maria Spero?) has been posting this nonsense all over the internet. Of course the violent Spero is NOT a professor and her colleagues at Fort Lewis have been quick to express their absolute disgust with her and her actions. She bragged about the encounter to many students and, her mistake, fellow employees. Spero’s attempt to paint herself as a victim of the Republican Party after having admitted to attacking the student for political reasons is one of the reasons she has to write under an assumed name to defend herself. Make no mistake, she is a hateful time bomb and Fort Lewis officials were happy to rid themselves of her. Fort Lewis students have also expressed their relief that the violent and threatening Maria Spero will no longer be able to stalk students off campus.
