TiVo Lowers Monthly Pricing, Brings Back Lifetime Service
Christmas came early to new and current (Well with the last 30 days) TiVo owners with the newly announced pricing plans. Although listed as promotional there is no expiration on the offer.
Pay-as-you-go service has been lowered $4 a month to $12.95. A 1-year prepaid plan is now $129, down from $179, and 2-year prepay is $249, down from $279. Houses with multiple TiVos get the rate of $9.95/month or $99/year.
But perhaps the most interesting deal is the $399 lifetime plan. Although it will take three years to recoup the unlimited cost, people love the idea of never having to pay for TiVo service again.
