100 button remote

I think I’ve finally figured out those crazy Russians over at Art.Lebedev, the guys behind the Optimus vapoboard keyboard. To understand their products, you have to realize that they’re a bunch of over-worked creative people who spend most of their waking hours churning out boring refrigerator designs. I’m guessing that as a way of letting loose some of that pent-up creative energy, they design one half-baked product concept after another, never seriously intending to produce any of them, until they see the potential market.

The latest offering from team Artemy is a TV remote control with no fewer than 100 individual buttons for switching channels, configured in a rainbow pattern, naturally. It’s obviously impractical, but fun and nice to look at nonetheless.
