Zeno The Boy Robot Scares Me

Ok this is VERRRRRY creepy. This is a robot modeled after the Japanese character Astro Boy. Even though Zeno looks like an anime character and has no body the robots facial expressions, ability to make eye contact, and facial recognition is enough to get me weirded out.

I love the “uncanny valley” – what an amazing description for something that is really hard to put into words. Half the time I was watching the video I wanted to hang out with that thing, and the other half I wanted to hit it with a hammer.
