Rollerman

One of my all-time favorite video games is Kinetica for Playstation– a futuristic racer featuring sexy neo-humans in form-fitting jet-powered exoskeletons which enable them to essentially slide along the track on their stomachs. It appears I’m not the only one who liked this otherwise run-of-the-mill game, as Frenchman Jean-Yves Blondeau has created a real life version of the wheeled suits featured in the title– minus the jet-packs.

Known popularly as the Rollerman, Mr. Blondeau, who’s studies in Industrial Design allowed him to create such an apparatus, does some pretty extreme things in his suit, including the high-speed trip down an Alpine pass below. [via, via]

I am so surprised that Mr. Blondeau wasn’t run over – His lane discipline was atrociouse. Great video – did he get zapped by a speed camera?

One question, where are the breaks?

Hey, this stuff is intense! but i have a question, what is the suit called, and where do you usually find them?
