Universal Music Sez “See Ya iTunes”

The pinnacle of all things journalism, Matt Drudge, has broken that the Universal Music Group will not renew its contract with Apple to sell their music on iTunes.

Of course this is NOT official and may be a negotiating tactic on Universals part to get Apple to bend on pricing, guess only time will tell.

    Good lord, did you even BOTHER to read the article you linked to? It said Universal was CONSIDERING not licensing their music. Thanks for another trolling post.

    How anyone even thinks this would happen, since iTunes is the #3 music retailer (including physical music sales), I don’t understand.

    That would be extremely stupid. The iTunes Store may be a “slow seller” compared to CDs, but eventually, CDS are gonna die because online digital music is eventually going to be its replacement.

    EG -
    VHS > DVD > BLU RAY & HD DVD

    Vinyl > cassette > CD > MP3′s AACs and all that jazz.
