Shiny, Pretty: The Rolls Royce of Routers

zz4c127ee5.jpg

This has to be the fanciest non professional router I have ever seen. This thing has speedometers, meters, readouts, clocks, the bells and whistles go on. Besides the information overload, the Belkin N1 Vision MIMO router also lets you set up a Guest SSID, with different security setting then your main network to keeps snoops at bay. Hopefully all the eye candy will not impede the routers performance, and will be significantly more responsive then the companies other offerings.

Available in late July for $199.

looks pretty cool.. belkins routers aren’t normally any good? Never used them so I wouldn’t know. I’m a sucker for bells and whistles though so I might look into this.

wow, thats sweet looking. my router is hidden away anyways though. Airport Extreme 802.11n , it was 170 bucks, 30 more aint bad for this thing, but the Airport Extreme software and setup utilities on the Mac cant be beat

Wow, that is sexy. Smart move to differentiate in a commodity market. But for close to $200, I’d rather have the USB jack on the Airport Extreme N.
