There is now a geeky way to verify money given to you is not counterfeit. Lose the pen and use Embotec’s EM-D275, which can identify counterfeit currency with a specially adapted lens controlled by a scroll button in as little as 13 seconds. No word yet on pricing, but somehow I think this thing can pay for itself.
