Google, I see you pee

google-maps-peeing.jpg

Seeing images like the one above – of a man peeing on the side of the road – worry me. What if Google catches me doing something unflattering in public while I thought no one was looking? I know urinating in public can’t be legal. What’s the going fine for relieving oneself in public?

Let the privacy complaints come on in.

“Let the privacy complaints come on in.”
I disagree, he did this in public where anyone could see.

It’s one thing for just some drunk slob to pull out his wang and start pissing in the middle of a busy intersection….
But come on, being a motorist that travels very often, I have pissed on the side of the road countless times. It is prudish to deny the fact, when you got to go, you got to go… Humans like every other creature on this planet have to evacuate waste and anyone who thinks that is some kind of crime, is an idiot…. So, keep looking, cause the next guy you see pissing on the side of the road… might be me!

There is some truth in that. Exhibitionism and scaring the cows is one thing. Urinating on the side of the road when bathrooms are nowhere to be found is only human.

Wow, thats a much funnier find than the guy climbing over the fence

The pictures are legal, the peeing in public is not, no matter how urgent the need is. Humans, as compared to animals, have the privilege of taking a leak in closed and private spaces. If you’re on the road, at least try to hide behind your car for Pete’s sake… especially now that Goolge is on the prowl. This guy in particular doesn’t quite seem like a motorist to me, no car in sight and he’s on a sidewalk, not in the middle of a highway where bathrooms would be harder to find.. He could have found a more discrete area.

@ TD, sure he did but the way that the fucked up legal system is these days…. I mean look at all the stupid pointless lawsuits?

@ Jay, I recall something somewhere in my highschool clases of it is illegal to take photographs of someone without permission. Now of course that’s unpractical now but just saying. If someone wanted to they could easily make a lawsuit out of this and have a chance.

Mashable.com ahde a nice writeup about all of the legalities and potential issues the other day here.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Google’s all seeing eye is a little scary, but it’s legal nonetheless.

this was on Reddit yesterday, and it was determined that the guy in the picture is fixing his bicycle. Go further down the road on google maps, and you can see a little better.

  • http://mavrev.com Matt

Trevor, actually you can see the bike from that picture if you look for it.

  • 5tifler

He was “riding” a bycicle, but as for just fixing his bike. I still don’t care, when you gotta got you GO…. Now excuse me,I’m going outside to take a piss!!!!
