Google features a new Public Calendar directory

Having used Google Calendars for quite some time – syncing between my desktop and mobile phones – I can, without a doubt, confirm that the web based calendar is one of the best free services offered to consumers to date. Existing GCal users will enjoy the fact that searching for public calendars is now a little easier.

Google recently announced the availability of a Public Calendars Directory. Previously, GCal users were limited to the search interface for locating public calendar shares. Now, GCal users can simply browse for interesting calendars to add to their online view.
