Watch out Box.net: Microsoft Live Folders
Microsoft has seemingly created a new web based online storage solution that is suspiciously like Box.net. Windows Live Folders allows you to upload your files to Microsofts servers, providing access to them from an internet browser (both Internet Explorer and Firefox are suppoerted). Also using Microsoft passport ID’s you can control access yo yous stored files with the option to keep them private, share them with contacts, or make them public.
Unfortunately the service is limited to 500MB initially, with a maximum file size of ~50MB – but then again it is a beta so I’m sure that could change.
If you are interested you can try and signup when the site is working (which seems hardly ever).
