This little wireless wonder is designed to make network expansion affordable and easy to administer. Each repeater is only about 4.5 by 2.5 inches in size and can be mounted anywhere in your home or office (so long as its near a power outlet). Supporting the 802.11 B & G wireless this little repeater includes a web based console that lets you set up a mesh network, and act like an ISP (kinda stealing a page out of Fon’s playbook).

The console software (which is tied into Google maps) allows you to easily control and troubleshoot your mesh network as well as setup billing for clients.

Available for $49 each.

For only a bit more you could get a wrt54gl from linksys. Upload 3rd party firmware (sveasoft.com) and get mesh networking, start your own wifi hot spot, turn it into a voip router, client mode, VPN server, bandwidth management (QoS), SNMP, remote performance statistics and much, much more.
