iSlayer.com updates iStat Nano
The most comprehensive free resource monitoring widget iStat Nano reached its 2.0 status offering a slew of features for the average computer user.
- Brand new interface, complete with animated transitions and new skin colours
- The old method of selecting views has been replaced by a ‘fly-over’ beautifully animated view selector
- Support has been added for 8 cores in the CPU view (just in time for the new Mac Pros!)
- Page ins and page outs are now displayed in the memory view
- Uptime view now shows task/thread stats
- Battery view now shows battery health
- Temperature and Fan views now show upto 7 sensors (was 5 previously)
- Added shortcut key to copy your external IP address to the clipboard (with nice visual feedback)
- Added keyboard shortcuts for almost everything (check the manual for details)
- Smaller and faster (down from 1.8mb to 1.3mb… version bloat? Not on our watch!)
- Improved 10.5 support
