Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix Trailer

Oh man this movie looks sooo good, it looks like they are following the book better then in the last 2 movies anyway, and that’s good because this one is important, well, so was the last one…

also derek, Michael Gambon replaced Richard Harris as Dumbledore when Harris died in 2002. Gambon’s first Potter movie was Prisoner of Azkaban, i couldnt tell if you were being serious or kidding.

do you guys make any money from the adbrite videos? im just starting to use them.

Really, I don’t think it’s possible to make a bad Harry Potter movie. Just do most of the book and that’s all there is to it. Great stories and great casting.

As for Dumbledore, I actually prefer Michael Gambon to Richard Harris – Gambon gets closer to the Dumbledore in the books, IMHO. Not that Harris was bad, but he seemed a bit aloof compared to the more earthy interpretation by Gambon.

Also, I think the comment about Dumbledore being replaced was regarding the storyline, where Umbridge takes over Hogwarts.

I’m not really looking forward to the movie version of “The HalfBlood prince”. All those good times and jokes are gone, how can the movie be any less depressing?

Here’s what I think (movies) :

1,2,4 : (funny, exaggerated)

3 : somewhere in the middle

5,6,7 : depressing, less entertaining (dunno about 7, but 2 good guys die is what Rowling says)

But I’m really looking forward to this movie! I thought it was the best book yet, and the movie looks promising too.
