CD Spindle – Bagel to go

bagel to go, originally uploaded by rodrigo piwonka.

Have a few unused CD spindles around the house? Why not do what this genius did and put your lunch inside. Think of how m any bagel sandwiches you could put inside one of those CD spindle towers.

This may be my totally crazy paranoid side coming out but wouldn’t CD Spindle Plastic infuse the bagel with nasty chemicals as the day goes on? Of course, that may give rubbery chicken the taste it actually deserves…

Jeeze.. Paranoia indeed ;) No worries, I’m not a fan of the idea either – at least now one big enough to try it myself. When you think of the quality of the plastic that is used for CD spindles, you do have to wonder about your food getting tainted.

It’s that wonderful smell that comes from CDRs when you first open them. Smells like cancer.

A great shot for one of those reuse / recycle creative ad campaigns though.

    Genius!

I actually do love that smell. It’s like sniffing a Sharpie™ or Expo™ Dry erase marker.
My math teacher is such an airhead, whenever she helps me out with a question, she puts her marker down next to my book and just leaves, then I sniff the marker during Spanish (the most boring class evar.)
