MediaFork public beta released – Handbrake updated for video enthusiasts
MediaFork, an “updated” rendition of every Mac OS X users favorite video ripping utility Handbrake, is now available in the form of a public beta. Known as a GPL’d multiplatform multithreaded DVD to MPEG-4 ripper / converter, the utility is now available for Apple, Linux, and Windows users.

- Constant rate factor encoding with x264
- New preference item to turn deinterlacing on by default (Mac OS X)
- New preference item to select the default audio language (Mac OS X)
