Giant spider eats a Gecko

Mildly disturbing and one that hit a soft note in my hear (we have a Bearded Dragon). Watch as this giant Camel Spider devours a lizard. Is that blood I see? No surprise what Camel Spiders are capable of. See the rest of the “giant creepy things want to eat you” on Metafilter.     I imagine that it was eating an entire camel at the time it was discovered and was named accordingly.

    That picture of the camel spider is a misleading one they (two of them) are very close to the camera with all other references being farther away. The video is awesome though!

    Mark could you send me a picture of the frogs in your area? I’d love to see a frog with a tail that large that’d be nuts.

    Haha… Mike D. Good point. When the idea of that creature being a frog was read, I didn’t even make the connection that it couldn’t be a frog because it has a tail.
