The Smell-o-Phone is real

Sony Ericsson believes the future of telephony rests in smell technology. The S0703i that comes with a scent slot which is capable of holding a sheet of unknown scents. I would certainly hope that Sony Ericsson would only focus on good scents, because I have no interest smelling Coffee breath, or bathroom when I talk to someone.

THis goes in my book under neat, but WHY?

If a little fan inside the thing activates when a call is received, and custom ring-scents become popular, I’m buying a gas mask.

Instead of sending smilies you can send chocolate chip cookie smell and instead of sending angry faces you can send fart smells! ahhhhhh nothing like the smell of poetic justice!
