Attention Japan: No Mega Mac for you!

mcdonaldsjapanpreview.jpg

About $2.87 (Or 350 yen) McDonalds in Japan is offering a “Mega Mac” hamburger that is hugely popular. Problem is McD’s can’t keep the four beef patty beast in stock. Matter of fact in the first four days it went on sale about 3.32 million of the *burgers* were sold.

So much was sold that McDonalds is forced to ration, extend the “Mega Mac” offer and lower its price dude to lack of availability.

Brings a new meaning to “Where’s the Beef?”

Hmm, I love the *burgers* touch there. A note that they aren’t really worthy of comparing with burgers sans asterisks? Anyway, going sans meat seems a better path for me in any case.
