33-yr. old Japanese fisherman completes Ultimate Obstacle Course

Think your muscular strength and dexterity can match that of 33-yr. old Japanese fisherman Makoto Nagano? [via] Additional background on the Ultimate Obstacle Course Challenge can be found on Wikipedia. Personally, I cringe at the thought of having to complete the final vertical challenge (timed).

    ESPN caries this (TSN as well, here in Canada). Crazy test of strength and agility. Though I would completely fall on my ass, I would love to try those courses out.

    I think I could do most of it except for the parts that require climbing ropes. I could never get the hang of it…

    It’s not viking, but ninja. I didn’t know about Ninja Warrior before he talked about it, but reading the articles in wikipedia clearly shows it is not the viking obstacle course.

    None the less, he’s better than me­.

    I know somebody who is a fisherman, and he has crazy strength also

    Mr. Makoto Nagano there in the video is the second person to finish the Ninja Warrior course out of 15-17 years. Ninja Warrior Created an offshoot show called Viking: The Ultimate Obstacle. Mr. Makoto Nagano was the only person to make it to the final stage in this new show, and he didn’t complete it. He was 5 feet away when time ran out.
