Vibrating alarm clock, not that kind

I don’t know about anyone else, but if I have to wake up at the crack of dawn, I’m making damn sure the person next to me has to endure the same wake up call. Just kidding. I wouldn’t do something like that. That’s why the vibrating pillow alarm clock is such a great idea.

Simply place the Vibrating Pillow under your pillow at night. In the morning a soft vibration will only wake you – and your partner will continue to sleep peacefully.

On the topic of alarm clocks, can anyone recommend their favorites? As “cool” and sympathetic as the vibrating alarm clock may be, I really think the vibrating would simply sooth me into a deeper sleep.

my personal favorite alarm, *and I’ve tried many* is to just use my computer. I got a simple program, called, unoriginally, Alarm. I set a song to play at 6 in the morning, then when it starts playing, I just press the escape key. I also found that if I want some extra time, I have to get up, turn the monitor on, stare at the bright screen, and use the mouse to reset the time and press “set alarm” this forces my brain to be half-awake, but still able to go back to sleep for another 25 minutes. It makes for an easier, more refreshed waking, in my opinion.

How about a watch with something like one of those gag lighters’ or pens’ transformer to deliver a shock? That would truly be an effective alarm clock just for you.
