Safari’s equivalent to the AdBlock?
As much as a enjoy the seamless extension options available for the Firefox internet browser, I find myself wandering back to Apple’s Safari browser due to a few random reasons. One of which is the fact that Safari feels incredibly faster starting & browsing.

Of all the extensions available for Firefox, the single most missed extension was the incredibly valuable AdBlock extension. Various sites which I had trimmed down using Adblock returned to their obnoxious state whenever I chose to browse with Safari.
All of that has changed since discovering SafariBlock. Despite having not been updated since November of 2005, and a number of negative comments reporting that the extension failed to work properly, I managed to import a number of my Firefox AdBlock rules into the blacklist which worked flawlessly. Try it for yourself and report back with results.
