We need to stop making conceptual designs, and actually make products. To complement your LCD/Plasma TV panels Yanko Design has created possibly the coolest hang-up CD player.
But this is no ordinary CD player, it boasts an illuminating Corian surface which is designed to not only look appealing when the unit is on, but also when it is turned off. When this unit springs to life, a light created-interface appears and is controlled via touch sensors installed under the Corian. Even cooler yet, is that the glowing corian surface (that doubles as the controls) also works as a speaker thanks to some high tech engineering. This won’t replace your Klipsch system, but it sure looks damn cool.
