Download iTunes 2007 – Unlimited FREE downloads?

if you read into it, it says that you will download “MP3s”. That makes no sense, becuase all iTunes songs are in their own AAC format.

in the FAQs, it says: “We strongly recommend the use of Windows Media Player (Version 7 or higher) to playback the tracks that have been downloaded. There are other players available on the net that support the wma format but the version upgrades might not be as up to date as the Windows Media Player.”

WMA format? MP3 Format?

Even more, at the very bottom of the FAQs, when asked why the songs wong play in a MP3 player, they state: “Most MP3 files on public servers are named with strange extensions or are not descriptive to what file type they are.”

It just looks like they are offering a database of pirated and free songs and a interface to download through.

of course its a fake, the design of the site is inconsistent with the rest of Apple’s design

Yes, it’s an obvious fake. Although I’d like to see someone download it and see what it’s like.

The domain is registered to a “Wasily Petrenkov” at a yandex.ru address (russian search engine)… definatley a fraud.

Its kind of fun trying to traceroute the server….

I guess this is a great way to use big names instead of exploits to build your botnet.

Mikey: for your dummy machine try M$ virtual pc or vmware. You still need extra windows licenses and such.

It’s a not go, filling the download information window will lead you to an additional page which requests that you submit your credit card information in order to subscribe for unlimited access to the “service”.

I’m pretty sure any distribution of iTunes wouldn’t have its webservers running MS Server 2003 ;)

if you read their FAQs, it looks like you pay them, and they give you access to dowload P2P programs. They mention you can d/l different types of software to play video and audio, and that they connect you with the most P2P file sharing networks…

Yeah, this has the exact same template that Limewire has for their site.

My uncle feel for one of these type of sites. I am thinking it is the same group that did this site because that site is no longer around … at least I can’t find it.

You would think the advertisment companies like google, yahoo, and etc would avoid allowing these type of sites being advertised on their sites.
