When human power goes wrong

I understand this is an experiment, but how can people justify people power to run a laptop. First of all how is a user expected to compute when they are just grinding away to supply enough power. We also love how the setup looks like something out of the board game mouse trap. To add insult to injury the visual of the biker clearly frustrated, with the overly excited over caffeinated narrator demanding the biker to pedal faster is hysterical.

Kinda useless but a great layout of the components used. Maybe this would be a reason to but that pet monkey I’ve always wanted!!!!

Just in case some of you didn’t notice, the narrator seemingly fails to prove that the laptop isn’t booting from the battery. He should have flipped it over and shown the empty battery compartment.

Also, it seems that he couldn’t keep the direct reflection of the sun out of his view when showing off the “What’s up meter”. If you notice the black dot in the center of the reflection, that is caused by the imager in the camera’s innability to reproduce what it detects as “too bright”. I noticed a similar effect when shooting some video this past summer with a hacked up digicam.

What the hell was the point in that…plug the damn thing into the wall all ready. Bet Katrina victims would have found this little tool handy….k….maybe not.
