The USB air ionizer?!

Again, I guess people take the ridiculous amount of USB ports on your computer as an invitation to plug weird devices into them. There is no exception of the USB air ionizer.

Instead of being designed designed for the user, the $39 filer is designed to keep dust from invading your precious laptop. I say save yourself $30 plus dollars and just get an air duster. Not to mention that ionic products may be bad for your health.

    I didn’t realize until reading this, that ionic air filters were a health hazard.

    What isn’t dangerous to use anymore? Radiation from CRTs, heat from laptops sterilizing your cherries, exploding batteries, damn. Funny that electronics as a whole have in some ways caused a downturn in human health and lifespan. Not that I would want to live without my daily dose of tech, but it makes me wonder sometimes.

    Maybe someone should design a USB smoke filter for people who smoke while using their PC. I for one, would sell them to every person that I’ve ever done work for that has brought me a “yellow” piece of hardware. I smoke, but personally can’t stand to work on a unit that smells like an ashtray.

    Amazing……seems that a person can buy a USB anything.

    I wonder why they made the ashtray in the shape of a car?

    Couldnt they think of anything geekier? After all, it IS to be plaugged into your PC.
