Spray-on condom: No more excuses for bad timing

Gizmodo points out that a German [company] has developed a prophylactic in the spray-on form. The liquid creates a protective seal preventing pregnancy or the contraction of STDs. A little strange if you ask me. I guess the spray-on idea is not as strange as some of the other condom uses that we’ve found over the past few months. I can imagine a spray-on version getting a little messy in some scenarios as couples impatiently wait for the solution to solidify.

    Being the advocate for safer sex that I am, I once again feel the need to point out that improper application of a condom significantly reduces how affective it is.

    Better double-up for safety with this spray-on crud. Two coats should work well.

    @Don – You may think it’s obvious, but you’d be surprised how many people don’t know that (much less how to actually put a condom on properly).
