Comcast offers wireless package
In an effort to entice new subscribers with its “triple-play” package, Comcast is planning on offering wireless coverage [via Sprint] with ooh so enticing pricing packages [via]. I say stick with broadband. Stick with something and hone it until the service sparkles.
Comcast is offering wireless as an add-on for subscribers of its “triple play” package of cable TV, telephone and Internet services. The price is $33 a month for 200 minutes and provides such services as voicemail, navigation and call forwarding.
How can execs even begin to stomach that worthless of a package. $33 for 200 minutes a month?! But I guess that’s a steal with the included voicemail and call forwarding right? What is this? 1994? Comcast, if you expect or hope for new customers to bite on that “triple-play” package (wireless crud), keep with the times. Want to take control of a households digital needs? Users will most likely be out and about meaning that VoIP voice solution won’t work. Offer some real minute packages (minimum 1000 for $45) to steal customers away from the competition.
