The RFID passport was hacked? Say it ain’t so!

As with all technology, hacking will happen as long as there is a will and a way. Figures when the US starts rolling something out en masse, that someone proves that it is fundamentally flawed.

RFID chips are passive, and broadcast information to any reader that queries the chip — thieves could collect the personal data of people as they walk down a street.

Although i don’t agree with some methods of the testing, it does indeed that RF waves are indeed leaky, and how RFID will bring identity theft to a whole new level.

    wtf leave up to the government not to tes shyt. leave it to some college kisds to hack the system. i really hope they fixed the problem. until the do i will just try to add more leafs to my passport assuming they still allow it .
