Kazakhstan is currently the butt of Borat‘s jokes, and I for one can’t wait to see the movie. The poor country is shown as a land of stupidity and backward thinking. Obviously the authorities got slightly mad over this flaming, causing some international uproar.

Yet the country can’t exactly shake off such a reputation, especially when it print a set of bank notes with the word “Bank” being misspelled.

The bank plans to put the misprinted notes – worth 2,000 tenge ($US15) and 5,000-tenge – into circulation in November and then gradually withdraw them to correct the spelling.

I can’t wait to see the Borat clip on the issue. [source]

I saw the movie last Thursday at a preview screening and it’s an absolute hoot. I can’t wait till it’s out in a couple of weeks to see it again. I haven’t laughed the whole way through a movie like I have for Borat in donkey’s years!

I can’t wait to see the movie either. I saw this news sometime over the weekend. What a great way to show the world that you’re NOT what Borat protrays.

On another note… on the first season DVD (disc 1) of Da Ali G Show if you listen to the audio commentary, Cohen says that he’s NEVER washed the Borat suit (intentionally)! That thing must stink to high heaven!

Yep, amazing movie. Saw a preview screening too, and it was way funnier than any other movies I had seen recently.

Go see it, beat Santa Claus 3: http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/santa-clause-3-tracking-better-than-borat/

I saw the movie a few weeks ago at a preview screening in Dallas. I laughed until I was out of breath and could only sit staring, mouth agape, at the spectacle unfolding.
