Unreleased Mac vs PC Ad

how about an ad that shows PC playing the latest video game and mac fiddling with the last game that actually had a mac version?

I like mac and all but this whole “PC is just for business thing” is so backwards its not even funny.

Might not be on in the US, but its playing on TV north of the border up in Canada…

The PC is only for business if you have an IT department that can fix everything that goes wrong.

Sure, right before we show how the major software companies like to ignore apple for gaming. Recently, though, that thought has started to go away. Two games come to mind IMMEDIATELY that are on both Mac and PC (Sims 2 and WoW). I’m sure that WoW has a much larger following for supporting Mac then if they just thumbed their noses at them.

Apple is trying to get the customer to change the ideas of the major companies. The thought process being (IMHO), “if enough people clamor for a mac version of software X, it’ll be written”. Sometimes, it’s the only way to get things done (is by force).

But how long has the mac been seen as “just for the “arts” and students”? I have switched to a mac, but prior to that my EXACT thought was that a mac wasn’t for the “average” consumer.

Personally, the commercials are EXACTLY on target. Most people need to have something put in this light to challenge the way they view something.
