No (violent) sex please, we’re British

All pervy British blokes beware. No more minced milkers for you. It has officially become illegal to own violent pornography. If them bobbies find your LaCie of naughties you could end up getting 3 years of gaol (jail). That’s kind of ironic ini’t? Apparently there’s a lot of violent bangin’ behind them bars, sort of defeats the purpose but I digress.

The action is a victory for the family of Jane Longhurst, a 31-year-old Brighton teacher murdered in 2003 by a man obsessed with viewing necrophilia Web sites, who have campaigned to block access to such material in the UK.

The campaign against horrific Internet sites took the family 30 months and involved the collection of 50,000 signatures for a petition. The effort was not in vain as the lads in HP voted to make possession of such images a felony.

The only problem is that I couldn’t find a decent definition for “Violent Pornography”. YOU try googling those words in inverted commas. When does love-making become a crime? Are videos of fresh girls with very well endowed blokes violent enough to be banned? What do you think?

    What makes it violent/extreme? More general terms. I like bondage, I also am a fetish photographer & do some pretty artistic stuff. Is bondage in general “violent”? What about spanking a rear end? Pretty lightweight by my standards but would others consider it “extreme”?

    Tipper Gore this has your name all over it….. (And most of the current elected politicians, see 2257 rules for that arguement)

    o dear lord, ,wait, there is no god. why in the world are people creating a law like this. i unnderstand a tangable idea like an age limit, but basing a law around some other person’s opinion of what violent porn is, booooo…. if you you don’t like it, don’t buy it, this fucking world, lets revolt!

    I’d say the latter part of that defines “violent porn”.

    Gee, where’s the PMRC on this one? I’m waiting for the U.S.A to follow GB’s example, and when they do, I don’t know what I’m going to do. What about BDSM? Consensual violence?

    As long as it’s consenting, (not rape scenes, necrophilia, pedophilia) there aren’t grounds to make it illegal.
