Michael Moore breaks down Health Care in new movie

I’ve added this movie to the list of things to see. I can’t wait to see what Moore has to say about US Health Care.

First, General Motors. Then gun control, followed by George W. Bush. Now rabble-rousing filmmaker Michael Moore has turned his irreverent camera on health care in America. “Sicko,” Moore’s dissection of the health care system, promises to be another hilarious documentary romp, based on excerpts he showed Friday night at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Expected release for June of 2007. Has anyones view of Michael Moore changed after viewing Fahrenheit 9/11? Ergh, I mean view of George Bush, oh I mean America?

The only thing that changed for me was an increased level of disdain for Michael Moore. Facts, honor, truth have no relevance to this guy.

If i wanted to be beaten over the head with lies for 90 minutes, I could just go buy another car. At least at the end I’ve got something to show for it.

Different responses than I thought, welcome!

Yes, I agree. Facts, honor, truth have no relevance for Bush.

Wow, I didn’t realize Bush-loving ninnies read this site! ;) That’s okay, Kyle and Steven are entitled to their idiotic opinions. I’m looking forward to Michael Moore’s new film, I’m sure as always he’ll have a fairly polite approach to his subjects and a reasonable point of view to the film, even if people who disagree with it don’t appreciate it.

I always love it when people claim Moore lies in his documentaries. It takes a certain amount of ignorance to proclaim what isn’t true, doesn’t it?

    Read this very carefully:

Michael Moore does not make documentaries. He makes video essays. And he’ll be the first person to tell you that.

Besides even Cinéma Vérité style documentaries are skewed. No one tells the whole truth. Ever.

Moore is just a piece of crap, anyone who like him or agrees with him gets no respect from me. He is just fat and wants food.

Roger, I’m idiotic? You must be right. Good job on pinning me. Hit it right on the nose. I sure do love Bush and his total lack of spending responsibility. I’m glad you were able to extrapolate that from my lack of respect for lies from Michael Moore…you’re a real sharp tack there.

I also keep loaded guns in my house and don’t think 9/11 was part of a vast right-wing conspiracy….MAN I must be STUPID

One more thing: I read this site because every day there’s something interesting, even if I don’t always agree with opinions posted. I STARTED reading it when one of my [free and open source] software projects was featured in an Uneasy post and somebody sent me a link. What have YOU contributed?

Dave: He is just fat and wants food.

Well that explains everything! This thread is closed ;) J/k.

    Steven,

I take it all back. You are a genius. Sorry to ruffle your feathers, I shouldn’t have lumped you in with Kyle, I guess I misunderstood your post. Now please put down the gun.
