Germ free is the way to be
This is something straight out of my dreams. I hate to think what kinds of germs and bacteria are lurking on my keyboard and mouse (Although I have a Purell bottle by my desk) Thankfully, companies are realizing that technology is helping spread disease.
IOGear announced today its Germ Free Wireless Laser Mouse, which “is able to inhibit a wide range of antibodies, viruses and algae.” ALGAE?!
Now for the geeky stuff: The outer shell of this mouse is covered in “nanocoating, consisting of titanium oxide and silver nanoparticles that can prevent or deactivate bacteria with 99% efficiency.”
The mouse sells for $39.95 and comes with a carrying case, and compatible with both Mac’s and PC’s
