Trick your boss to think you are actually working

An ingenious idea for those surfing the net during work, if your trying to fly under the radar and avoid the “shouldn’t you be working on something” reminders from your supervisors, say hello to the perfect tool.

‘WorkFriendly’ cloaks your usual browser to make it appear as if you are working inside a word document giving you a leaned down text version of whatever site you wish to view. My favorite feature by far is the “boss key” which when hovered over triggers the hiding of whatever you’re looking at and appears to be a “self improvement” article about stopping procrastination and getting things done.

Perfect for all you work web surfers!

Doesn’t seem to work. Took me to eBay’s front page but when I tried to do a simple search, just keep getting the generic:

    The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Cool idea though, w/ text only…

A nice little trick that I use to “look busy” at any time while at work is to simply walk around with a little piece of paper with some random words on it, or some doodles from the personal phone call that I just finished. To add to the effect, mumble incoherently to yourself every few minutes.

It gives the illusion that you’re thinking or working on something important and shouldn’t be interrupted as to not “lose your train of thought”. Works like a charm.
