The Yo-Yo MP3 Player

I guess to compete, companies will try ANY DESIGN to try and beat the iPod.

Yes, it is a concept that I hope it stays as a concept. This MP3 player is batteryless and powered by the action of Yo-yoing. It can store up to 200 songs on its built-in hard drive (Can you imagine what the spinning of the Yo-Yo will do to the Hard Drive?). A touch screen LCD display allows you to control the player and view time/song information. Pricing and availability have not yet been announced.

To get this player going, just toss the ting a few times. And the headphones? They’re bluetooth! [via]

There’s no problem to the hard drive cause there is none. It uses flash memory… ;o)

    See it over here:

You don’t think this is a pretty cool idea? If it were hard drive…yeah, that would be stupid, but flash would work.

If they sold these things for like 49.99 at Toys ‘r Us and branded them, I could see kids going nuts over them.

Then again, I’m a sucker for anything that doesnt require batteries and is human powered(lights, radios, computers, etc.)
