MySpace users, you have no privacy!

The 800 lbs Gorilla of social networking, MySpace, has been under quite a few attacks lately. The newest one it that any user (they don’t even have to be registered on MySpace) can view “private” myspace comments and pictures, just by knowing their friend number.

Here is the “secret backdoor” URL to view MySpace hidden comments:

**insert their Myspace friendID at the end

and if you want to look at a users private pictures, use this “secret backdoor” URL:

    Not sure about what others see, but the option to delete comments presents itself when viewing hidden comments. I didn’t try though…

    I noticed the other day that if a myspace page turns up in google search results then you can view the contents by choosing googles cached version. Weird how these things get overlooked, huh?

    Bollocks, I was just looking at this really hot girl’s page the other day and her pics were set to private. Wish I would have known about this then. Wish I could remember how I got to her page. Wish I were using the same computer so I could just search through the browser history. Oh well.

    …. I still can’t believe myspace works… its built on probably the shitiest programming ideas and methods ever… their performance sucks, their security is lame, and thats just the begining.

    this has been going on for months, myspace FINALLY fixes it, and you posted this on the day they fix it! haha… the ONLY one that does work is the url to view their friends.. but you don’t have it. amazing.

    Duh. Everyone knows that. You’re no genius. This does not work though if someone is not your friend and their profile is set to private. In most cases, the people who want to hide something from you, their profile will be private and they will not add you as a friend! This turns out to be pretty much useless.

    Rachel, that is not true. Just because someone’s profile is set to private doesnt mean you can’t see them. People have been able to hack mySpace and see private profiles since they started.

    This hack is only useless now because its been FIXED. There will be plenty of other ways that people will figure out just like before. Myspace is not safe for private information at all.

    IF YOU WANT to view a bigger version of a default pic and the pro is private, copy the property code of the pic, paste it, and after the slash near the end it will say s_233084384 (bunch of numbers) change the s to a m (med) or l (large) and there you have a bigger picture.. discovered that one day lol

    To most of the idiots posting, still searching for a way to hack myspace. Let’s put this in a category of ” The not so really smart section “.
    Most of you are surfing the web trying to find a hack for myspace. You stumble across a few websites that used to have “hacks” or so called ” backdoors “. You use “Google ” cache to try to help, because some website said that might help. The only way to hack a myspace ” Private Profile ” now is, A. Your a smart cookie and you know what the hell your doing, or B. You make another myspace account and hopefully can get added to the person’s page your trying to view.
    Love the site. Now let’s see if anyone smart can catch onto this.
    Your on a person’s page you want to view. It’s private. What do you do? At the bottom of any “Explorer or Fire Fox ” you see something that says ” Adopt “. Because we all know how myspace likes to have sponsors……. right?
