Make your own messenger bag

Not too shabby of a project to undertake on the weekend for the do-it-yourself’ers. Although these kits don’t look sturdy enough to carry valuable items around, the fact that you can brag about having made your own messenger bag carries merit in itself. Is anyone planning on giving this a try for themselves? I’d like to see some images of success creating a messenger bag from scratch.
