Add tabs to Windows applications

Scattered windows can be such a nuisance, especially on cramped screens. If there was one thing I made sure of while working productively on on Windows, it was to make use of applications which implemented some type of tabbed interface. Why spread related windows all over the desktop when you can streamline your workspace with tabs? Unfortunately, there aren’t too many applications which make use of tabbed interfaces by default, or flat out deny users the functionality to begin with.

WinTabber will assist in streamlining your work environment by providing tabbed interfaces for applications which would not normally offer the option. Keep in mind that some applications may not reflect the changes made by WinTabber so be prepared to accept some inconsistency.

Ugh what an ungoddly useless hassle. Now you have to switch between your groupings of web pages, word documents, etc and then once there you have to switch to the tab you want. Seems like quite a waste to me. Plus I like a lot of stuff open at once :)

To each his own. Everyone will have their personal preferences concerning desktop environments. Personally, I don’t see the inconvenience of toggling through tabs using the keyboard shortcuts.
