Whole lakes swallowed in on gulp

So this is what happens when you drill a mine underneath a lake. Who would have thought such a thing would happen?! Kind of reminds me of the giant drilling project in Russia. Check out the images of a giant mining pit near Mirny, Russia. The pit is so large that giant dump trunks look like little ants in comparison. Helicopters are not allowed to fly near the pit due to unpredictable wind conditions.
