See boys and girls, you can have a similar life if you create a successful internet startup which transforms into an internet giant. See what life is like when you have more money than you know what to do with? You can have petty arguements about the bed size in your private room [onboard a 767 widebody jet]:

Mr. Jennings says Messrs. Brin and Page “had some strange requests,” including hammocks hung from the ceiling of the plane. At one point he witnessed a dispute between them over whether Mr. Brin should have a “California king” size bed, he says. Mr. Jennings says Mr. Schmidt stepped in to resolve that by saying, “Sergey, you can have whatever bed you want in your room; Larry, you can have whatever kind of bed you want in your bedroom. Let’s move on.” Mr. Jennings says Mr. Schmidt at another point told him, “It’s a party airplane.”

Continue reading the rest of the article on WSJ [via]. How come we never heard of similar stories coming from the Microsoft empire during its early rise to fame?

On a related note, how cool would it be to have a hammock to relax in during flight? I have a feeling most of the amenities on this plane will not be FAA “approved”.
