To complement the Squeezebox, the Transporter is designed to be one of the most advanced networked audio systems available in the market, claiming to boast a sound quality that tops even the most sophisticated high-end CD players.
The best feature of any Slim Devices product is that you can listen to thousands of Internet radio stations and tracks from services like Rhapsody and Pandora, creating a virtually unlimited music collection. Obviously all the attention for the device was not paid to ensuring it has pristine sound quality, the design looks slick! The Transporter will begin shipping on September 18 for (brace yourself) $1999.
