Pentium RIP

With the rollout of the new Intel Core 2 Duo, the beloved Pentium is of no more. After 12 years this closes the Pentium chapter in Intel’s book. It seems that the Core 2 Duo processor finally met the goals the Intel had always hoped to meet. I’s fast, low-power and not too expensive.
