OS X project tracking & billing – On The Job
Anyone who runs a successful / semi-successful / at least in my own little world I’m successful “business” venture on the side understands the importance of maintaining accurate records and proof of completed work. As projects accumulate increasing the challenge of maintaining some sense of organization, so to does the task of turning around to bill clients. While Windows users enjoy the convenience of certain *cough* Microsoft applications or services, OS X users are often left to settle for web based solutions.
Fortunately, Dan of Stunt Software – home of the popular Overflow & PhotoBooth – offers up a simple yet effective utility known as On The Job.
I took the svelte application for a little spin and came away impressed. Impressed enough to keep the little icon / timer in my dock for any “projects” which require some sense of time management and billing.
Ever on the hunt for time management solutions for OS X, I am continually open to recommendations. What do you use for managing your time?
