My MacBook smells like a hot iron
Quick poll for MacBook users as I am becoming ever worrisome of the temperatures this incredible machine creates. With four applications running – Firefox, Mail, Newsfire, and TextMate – the little shiny white thing that could hovers around 70 degrees celcius. That doesn’t seem too high, let’s convert that into fahrenheit shall we? How does 153 degrees fahrenheit from a Core Duo MacBook sound?
I’m just curious, but does anyone else’s MacBook smell like a hot iron? The next time your MacBook is starting to feel a little toasty, stick your nose near the USB / Firewire ports and take a quick whiff and let me know what you smell. Apple is so right! These aren’t laptops. These are notebooks.
Anyhow, I’m nearing a month and a half on this MacBook. Look for a great hands-on review soon which focuses on the actual value of the machine.
