Corporate America rebranded for the Web 2.0

fedex web 2.0

There’s always a little room for a little Web 2.0 goodness. You know, the Web 2.0 gradients, reflections, rounded corners, flamboyant colors. What better way to celebrate our favorite corporate identities than by re-branding them to “fit in” with the rest of the trendy applications and services that we’ve come to love and rely on. My personal favorite would have to be the FedEx logo with the black and electric blue.

Interesting. But somehow less legible. I wouldn’t necessarily say I like it though.

The arrow coming out of the negative space is much nicer and cleaner, this looks almost as bad as the new UPS logo.

Well the execution is not necessarily much to praise. The idea yes. There are a few other renditions in the thread. A lot to sift through actually.
