Better passwords on your Mac
Nothing is better then random right? Picking a good password is an important part of keeping your system safe and your information private. Good passwords are impossible to guess and difficult to crack, but they can also be hard to think up. For the longest time I have been using GRC to randomly generate all my passwords, however it becomes a problem when I have no network access.
Apple, since the launch of Tiger has had a WONDERFUL little random password application called Password Assistant. The Mac OS X password assistant can help you come up with a secure password instantly, however this utility is REALLY buried in the MacOS.

However, there is a nifty little program that evokes Apple’s built in password generator at your whim. Perfect for ensuring you have the strongest passwords available. Certainly worth a download, and of course it is a universal binary.
