Dan Schwartz whipped up this amazing OS X theme for Nokia Series 40 handsets [via]. Using icons from OS X, a familiar Aqua wallpaper, and Dashboard like detailing for highlighted elements, you’ll soon find yourself living the dream of an OS X interface on your Nokia handset. Incredible attention to detail. Now if I could just find a way to get a hold of a slick Series 40 phone… There once was a time when I assumed Sony Ericsson would rein supreme in the custom handset theming arena. I had no idea that Nokia handsets could be styled with such detail. I underestimated the options made available with the Series 40 phones.

    I own a T610 (yeah it’s a bit old but it’s a nice phone still) and have it with an os x theme. very nice. albeit not as cool as this one which has all the osx icons! this is wicked… if only cellphones were as enjoyable to use as osx ;) we’ll have to wait for the iPhone I guess…

    How much time before Appleâ„¢ lawyers get on their asses… what do you guys think?

    One thing: I’m assuming that you tried everything under the sun to change the dodgy backgrounds on the message fields, but with no luck?
